Television viewers watched my Blind Date trip to Santa’s homeland, which didn’t go as planned. Hoping to carve out a career in acting, I was thrilled to be selected for the dream break. At 26, I had recently touched many hearts in Peterlee by creating a replacement headstone for three children, Charlotte, Amy, and Dean Alexander, after vandals destroyed the original memorial. I later shared my experience with Cilla on the show. While my date seemed pleasant, we had little in common.
