CRAFTSMANSHIP ROOTED IN TRADITION
I approach every house plaque as a personal commission, shaped by hand rather than machinery. Each piece is carved with care, depth, and intent, allowing lettering and form to develop naturally through skilled workmanship. My background as a master mason informs every cut and proportion, ensuring lasting structure as well as visual strength. This approach allows Auckland Memorials Master Masons to create plaques that feel connected to place, history, and craft rather than uniform production.
INDIVIDUAL DESIGN WITH LASTING CHARACTER
I design each plaque as a one-off creation, guided by the setting and architectural style of the property. Lettering, spacing, and surface treatment are carefully balanced to achieve clarity and harmony over time. No template is reused, and no automated process is involved. Through Auckland Memorials Master Masons, I also create bespoke headstones and provide careful headstone cleaning, bringing experience gained from traditional masonry work into both larger memorials and smaller domestic pieces. Each piece carries purpose, identity, and enduring presence.

MATERIAL CHOICE AND FINISHING DETAIL
I work with traditional materials selected for durability and visual integrity, shaping each surface to complement natural texture and tone. Finishes are applied with restraint, allowing form and lettering to remain the focus. Every decision, from stone selection to final carving, is made with longevity in mind. My process values proportion, legibility, and ageing gracefully, resulting in house plaques that remain meaningful and structurally sound for generations.
